This page describes how Equipment 'Name Values' can be assigned to Equipment Records and how the 'Name Values' can be edited.
There are 2 ways to change the values of your custom Name Value attributes:
- Use the Edit Tab on the Equipment Record Form.
- Use a Flow Record
It is important to know that the 'Flow Record' method keeps a full history that is displayed in the Equipment Record, and in the Equipment Report. For the 'Direct Edit' no visible history of the change is kept. The EZ-MES system however stores the old value as an historic value.
So we higly recommend to use the 'Flow Record' method to make changes to the Equipment Attributes i.e. create a Flow Definition to make the changes to the equipment 'Name Values'.
