EZ-MES has Revision Control for the following objects:

• Part Definitions
• Step Definitions
• Flow Definitions
• Documents

New revisions can be defined on the 'Revision Tab' of the dialogs for these objects.

The example below details how to amend a Part Definition from it's old revision to the next.
Note: The procedure is identical for the other objects i.e. Step Definitions, Flow Definitions and Documents.

INITIAL REVISION

The initial Revision given at the time the Definition was created.  The value will only be displayed if there is a second revision.

CURRENT REVISION

The current revision is displayed here

COMMENT

This comment will be in reference to the revision being made

REV

The new revision you will be creating

REV DATE

Date selector for new revision.  The default is the current date

CREATED BY

The person creating the new revision.  The default is the current user logged in.
