Recipe Dependencies can be based on three different values.

• Recipe Dependent on Part Definition
• Recipe Dependent on Equipment Definition
• Recipe Dependent on Both Equipment Definition and Part Definition

For proper configuration of any of the above options, you must first have any Recipe Document Types created first.

Recipe Dependent on Part Definition

This Recipe will display the Recipe Document that is linked to the current Part Definition Spec.  

Configuration should be as follows.  

1. Create your Recipe Spec for each PD that would be going through your Flow.

On the EQ Name-Value you will now configure the Recipe Specification.

1. Choose the Equipment and Recipe Spec that was assigned on the PD.

With this configuration, when the Equipment is selected on the Traveler, the Recipe document will now be displayed as a clickable link above the EQ Select NV.  If clicked from the Traveler it will open the default Document from the Recipe Document Type.

Recipe Dependent on Equipment Definition

This Recipe Dependency will display a different Recipe Document based on the Equipment Type chosen.  

For instance, you have 2 different types of Ovens (standard and type 2).  Your particular step may allow for the use of either Oven, however, they have different recipes that should be used.  This configuration will allow for the correct Recipe Document to display once the Equipment is selected.

This case will not require any specific Specs to be added to the Part Definition as it only is dependent on the selected Equipment Definition.

On the EQ Name-Value you will now configure the Recipe Specification.

1. Choose each Equipment Definition that is allowed to be used for this NV.  In the example we allow for 'Oven Equipment' and 'Oven Equipment Type 2'.
2. Specify the Equipment and Recipe Spec that will display.  Perform this for each Equipment Definition you are allowing from step 1.  Remember, no need to specify a Spec here.  This option is only dependent on the Equipment the User will select on the Traveler.
3. Add Recipe

Confirm the Recipes are correct in the Recipe Combination box.

With this configuration, depending on which Equipment the User selects on the Traveler, the Recipe Document will display above the Equipment NV.
