1.  In order to take an application offline, you must first Remote Desktop into the correct server where the database is located.

2.  Log into the database and check if there are any users logged in, i.e. http://hamal.eazyworks.com.  If nobody is using it, then you can proceed.  Otherwise you should begin informing them that you need to take the application offline.

3.  Then navigate to the websites folder, and locate the proper database/app you wish to take offline.  Go into the folder and rename the file  '_App_Offline.htm' to 'App_Offline.htm'.  You will basically be removing the first underscore.

4.  The app is now offline.  To put it back online, simply rename the file back to its original state.
