The Combos are received as single units without knowing the actual weight. After the combos are weighed we would like to see the amount of pounds of Ham we have in inventory. To enable this functionality we will add a Input - Output conversion on the 'Receive Combos' Step Definition.

Part Definitions

But before we can define the Input Ouput combination we have to define the Part Definitions. To make this possible conversion we will make the following Raw Ham Part Definitions:

• Raw Ham [Combo]
• Raw Ham [LB]

The following figure gives a schematic presentaion how the Ham Combo is converted into Ham LB. This conversion will keep the different Combos in different Part Records, but now the quantity is not 1, but the amount of weighed pounds.
