Dependent on the configuration, parts can be added to a Traveler in different ways:

  • Creating new parts on a traveler
  • Adding existing parts to a traveler (pull)
  • Move Parts from another traveler to your current Traveler (push)

Creating new parts on a traveler

Some flows are configured so that on the first step the traveler can create parts. If that is the case, the 'Create New Parts' Icon will appear on the traveler with a quantity field. The following figure shows how the parts can be created:

Adding existing parts to a traveler

If the parts already exist in the system, they can be added to the traveler by clicking the 'Add Parts' Icon. This will open the Part Grabber which can be used to select the parts and add them to the current traveler.

Push parts from another traveler to your current traveler

Beside adding the parts by using the 'Add Parts' function, parts can be pushed from other travelers to your current traveler. This is done by the 'Parts Reposition' Function. Note: this function is only available for users with supervisor or higher access rights.
