If you are starting from scratch, then this is the right page to start. But before you start, you need at least the following:
- Have an URL (web address) to get to the Login page. If you don't have an URL, please contact us This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- Learn how to use the login page
- Have an EZ-MES user account
- Learn how to create a new user account
- Have admin rights for your account
- Learn how to assign user rights
In general it is probably a good idea to just skim throught the Basics Manual to learn how to login, logout, and change your personal account settings.
What you will learn
When you have finished the example in the following pages, you will have done the following:
- Created a simple Part Definition and Flow Definition that uses 2 Step Definitions to create Part Records.
- Created 10 Part Records by creating a Traveler (Based on the Flow Definition) and moved the Traveler through the 2 steps.
- Looked at a number of reports to see the tracking history.
Before you start, please note the following:
- Color coding of Forms
Within EZ-MES all forms that are used for definitions (the configuration of the system) are blue forms. All forms that are used for actual parts/travelers (instances of a definition) are green forms.
- Trouble Shooting
If you need help, you can always contact us, or use the build in Chat Application to chat with us.
- Refresh
It is possible that information is not updated in Forms and Listboxes, in this case press the 'Refresh Button' to force an update. Most forms have a big 'Refresh' button and for Listboxes the refresh button can be found in the lower right corner.
