The Part Record is the EZ-MES Objects that represents real-world parts or real-world batches. The properties of the Part Records are defined by its Part Definitions.
AKA: Part Records are also known as Parts, Material, Devices, or Products. Throughout the documentation different nomenclature can be used.
Parts can be seen as a single part identified by a single NV Unique ID known as discrete parts, like a single car, or as a collection of parts known as non-discrete parts, like a bag of screws: Discrete vs Non-Discrete
NOTE: A batch can consist of multiple parts but is still represented in EZ-MES with a single Part Record (with a quantity that can be 1 or any other number).
NOTE: When individual tracking for parts within a batch is required (E.g. Tracking a Lot of Wafers in the semiconductor industry), multiple Part Records can be grouped into a single Lot.
