Hierarchical Flow Definition can be created by adding a Flow Definition as a step to another Flow Definition. You can do this to create unlimmited levels of hierarchy for a single Flow Definition.

You can use this for the following reasons:

• To deal with reoccurring step sequences. You can define these steps into a separate Flow Definitions and add this Flow Definition as a Step
• The Part State changes during the flow. E.g. you would like to move parts to inventory but keep them on a Traveler.

The procedure to add a Flow Definition is the same as adding a Step Definitions but now you have to use the second pulldown as shown in the following figure:
