To change the Equipment Record information there are two options:
- Re-Run the Traveler that Created the Equipment Record - Records all the changes for traceability
- Directly Access the Equipment Part Record and Modify the NVs - No tracking of the changes
Re-Run the Traveler that Created the Equipment Record
The main difference between the traveler operation is that a pre-existing Equipment Record is selected in the traveler and the NVs are edited instead of being created for the first time. Follow the steps illustrated below to open the 'Serialize Equipment' Flow Definition and start a new traveler to change the Equipment ID:
Now enter the new values for the Equipment Record:
Directly Access the Equipment Part Record and Modify the NVs
The direct access method will alow changes to be made to the Equipment Record NVs but without tracking of the changes.
