Before you create a new Spec Definitions it is a good idea to check if the Spec Definition already exists by opening the Spec Definition Listbox. To create a new Spec Definition take the steps shown below:


Steps to take, to Create a new Spec Definition:

  1. Make the Configuration Desktop active
  2. Open the Spec Definition Listbox
  3. Click the New Spec Definition Icon in the upper left corner, this will open the Spec Definition Form
  4. Fill out the information on the Spec Definition Form.
  5. After completing the form, you can move the Spec Definition to the Active State by pressing the 'Next' button

Now the Spec Definition is available to the rest of the system. You can start using this Spec Definitions and NV - Data Entries to automate Quality Assurance.
