This BOM is mostly for reference, to see the BOM for a product. However, you can actually consume parts listed in this BOM via the Name Value BOM Consumption. Caution should be used with the BOM Consumption NV if the part may also be consumed by a step definition called in another location in the Flow. This can result in a double part consumption and leads to inventory count errors.
The Tab has the following options
Add Sub part
Select the Part Definitions you would like to add to the BOM list
Category
You can specify a Category for each item added
Sequence
This Sequence number will display the BOM Parts in the order specified
Quantity
This is the number of Parts required for the BOM list
The buttons on top of the screen can be used to create overviews of the BOM like the Bom Report below. Those can be printed, and for example can show a cost overview. The cost of parts can be added using the Part Definition Form / Supplier tab.
