This Tab is used to grant access to this part for only certain users or user groups, where the last one has the preference.
The Tab has the following options
Add Group
After you have defined and created User Groups they can be add to this Part Definition. This will restrict any user that is not within that group access to the Part Definition. This applies to any area that contains the use of the Part Definition; including Travelers, Step Definitions, etc.
Allowed Groups
Displays Groups that have been granted Access Rights to this Part Definition.
Remove Group
Pulldown the menu and select the Group you wish to remove Access Rights from. This Removes only the selected Group. To remove/clear all groups, click the Clear All icon to the right
Add User
You can add a user to this Part Definition. This will restrict any user that is not selected, access to the Part Definition. This applies to any area that contains the use of the Part Definition; including Travelers, Step Definitions, etc.
Allowed Users
Displays Users that have been granted Access Rights to this Part Definitionno.
Remove User
Pulldown the menu and select the User you wish to remove Access Rights from. This Removes only the selected User. To remove/clear all Users , click the Clear All icon to the right
Note for Administrators: Be certain to assign rights to yourself before assigning any rights for either groups or individual users otherwise you will inadvertently remove your own Access Rights to editing the Part Definition and it will be instantly invisible to you on the system.
